Without breaking the bank (say around 100-150 quid'ish) can someone recommend me a (min 1tb) SSD for putting games on. My exsisting game SSD has run out of space. Doesnt really need to be NVME because its just for games. I think 2.5inch SSD should suffice?

Samsung 860 EVO 1 TB SATA 2.5" Internal SSD

Right in middle of your budget if you are happy to stay on 2.5" but you may get a NVME cheaper (not talking cheap brands).

Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe PCIe

About same price as above but faster and decent brand recommended by many on here.

Sabrent Rocket Q 1TB NVMe

Slightly cheaper Q version (not sure what's different).

Sabrent 1TB Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0

Just a touch over budget.

And for NVMe WD Blue SN550 seems to be current clear bang per buck leader.

Samsungs are brand overpriced charging more for SATA drive than NVMe's cost.

Q=QLC meaning it should be clearly cheaper, not just little.
Meaning it's overpriced when TLC based WD Blue SN550 is hardly any more expensive.

He gave a budget and I met it apart from £10 over in one case in a quick Google search, I was not going to spend much time on it as he can do the same.

So you are preaching to the choir.

I read up and the Q stand for QLC Flash and some slate it but it is ok and I used for Storage till recently till I upgraded, I would not use for OS but ok for games I suppose.

It does rely on the DDR4 Cache (some also have set aside SLC Flash as secondary Cache) and if it fills both of these performance tanks.
