Hi All,

I want to prioritise the hardwire gaming connection to my PC, while the rest of the house still has access to wireless browsing and occassional streaming.

Someone suggested QoS. I have the standard SKY sagem 2504N router. I'd like a second hand 'N' router with QoS.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Something running gargoyle router software. I have a Netgear wndr 3700v1 that does the job nicely!

If you need any hints or tips for the qos,let me know :-)

Rt-n16 with tomato tbh is the cheapest, although finding second hand routers that support linux firmware is actually rather difficult as people try to hang onto them :)

If qos is you're only goal then tomato is the logical choice (dd-wrt is still lagging here plus is more complicated) and gargoyle, well, has some interesting cavets but compared to tomato/dd-wrts feature and support base, well yeh..
