Recommend me DS games

What do you already have and what are your preferences in game types?
I'm just about to complete Pokémon Diamond - I played Red back in the day for hundreds of hours and am really enjoying it at the moment.
I also enjoyed Brain Training - I've got the original & 'More Brain Training'.
Currently playing through WarioWare which is a good fun touch-screen pick up and play game.
I also just started Hotel Dusk: Room 215 - looks like it'll have a really good storyline, however it's not really pick up and play. You have to get into it and have a good 'session' on it.

yes could be compared to that, phoenix wright is a lot better though. can get a little bit too quirky but its all part of the japanese humour i guess 
. its probably not for you if you looking for pick up and play, you def need some good sessions on this!
meteos and tetris are both awesome games as is the castlevania series. elite beat agents is a lot of fun though the japanese version better (osu tatakae ouendan 1/2). i've also heard great things about the gta game, china town wars.

professor layton seems like a dead cert for anyone ds owner? from what i can remember when my mum handed it to me when she got stuck lol...
also csi: dark motives has some nice touches (cut scenes)... you just need to get past the first level which is pretty irritating...
forgot to mention zelda: phantom hour glass!

Advance wars - any version you can find! Dark conflict is probably the weakest, but is still excellent.

Definitely Advance Wars (either Dual Strike, or the 2 GBA games - I'd leave Dark Conflict until last as it's the weakest)
Fire Emblem series (made by the same people as Advance Wars, and features very similar gameplay but with an RPG element)

After seeing some videos I think I'll go for some of the games above, then I'll come back to this thread later when I want more.

I've just been playing the first one today. Brilliant game
Also had a go on Professor Layton, Hotel Dusk & Chinatown Wars - all are very good.
One at a time though I think.
I'll check some videos out on Disgaea as well - Japanese RPGs are usually pretty good.
