ive got a Creative Zen Vision M 30gb

had it for about 4-5 months now

and the original headphones have taken a bashing, and the left one is a bit sketchy..

can someone recommend me some good quality headphones (white) (of similar size and quality) (for £30 or under) as replacements

what about the Creative EP-635's they any good?

what are the ones everyone tends to buy (on informed/educated purchasing).. Sennheiser CX 300 or something?

thanks in advance

CX300's are a poorer driver compared to the MD33s/CP630s.

The 635's use a bigger driver, and are a neck chain type (630's are Y, but the md33's are neck chain too).

Philips SHE9501. Currently £20 with the purple shirt brigade. Bought them in the USA for my Zen Micro. Love em to bits. They are inner ear headphones which some people don`t like. But they come with 3 different sized grommets and are really comfortable. Nice retail package also comes with a holder and pouch.

SONY MDR-EX71

Not easy to get hold of in the uk but there is a place that stocks them. They come recommended by iLounge forum.
I got them upon reading the reviews and they are sweet

Please ignore comments on this thread - The CX300's do not use poorer drivers and many people perfer them over the Creatives. The Creatives are much better value thou and do have a bit more bass - the senns have better treble....

The Sony EX71's ARE VERY widely avilble in the UK and are the worst piece of rubbish you can get - terrible sound (screachy highs thats like chewing silver foil) and the cables melt after a few months.

Id get the Creative's....

I second every thing he says. Please dont get the sony, mine only lasted 3 weeks, there very poor! Got for the creatives thats what I'm using atm.

i would recommend the cx300's or the koss 'the plug'

I have both and find that the plug have better insulation and as a result great sounding bass and clarity, they are however a little awkward to get used to and don't fit as well as the cx300's

they are both approx 18 pounds so brilliant value for money, they both sound amazing out and about, as well as batting well with my senny hd25's and my beyer dt770's

Any opinions on the Sennheiser OMX-70's? They look like they might be decent for cycling but if the sq's poo I'll pick up something from this thread instead.

They sounded worse when I heard them. A lot of people say they don't hear any discernable difference bettween the CX300s and the EP630s. A lot of people also say they're better than Sure E2C's and Ety Er6i's. Go figure :\.

Well I would not touch the E2C and Er6i's - there are much better earphones for the same price about!

I've been using Sony MDR-ED21's for the past year and thought these were great! Bass is excellent and they are very comfortable in the ear.

Since loads of people have talked about the Sennheiser cx300's, i have ordered myself a pair! Hope they are really as good as you guys say they are :p

I've been looking at the E2C's... and they are a bit pricey, and there have been a lot of great reviews for the Senn's.

There have a been a lot of people that reviewed the Sony MDR-EX71's being very fragile. The cable is exposed within a few months of use. So i'm trying Sennheiser for a change.
