Recommend me road bike please?

Had a Defy 2 mashed up by a car.

If not that what would you recommend for about £500(+-£300)?
What wheels would you recommend?

Was thinking carbon frame but not sure (boardman in Halfords £1k which is pushing it).

Can't actually sit properly at moment so hopefully will come back ok....

Do you need a full bike or just a frameset? Are your wheels or groupset transferable from the Defy or are they mashed?

Everything was mashed. Wheels, frame, handlebars, groupset.

Full bike ideally please.

Do people ever part ex bikes?

I have a Planet X white SRAM carbon TT bike about 1 year old but only been used about 6 times! Other than that it's been sat in my living room.... £1200's worth just sitting there...

why would you recommend someone who had a defy then buys an aggressive race geometry bike over arguably one of the comfiest alloy road bikes on the market?

Eh? The TT bike was for purely Time Trials. Sub 26 minute 10 mile time trials and capable of much better with a decent rider! I never use it enough.

I only had the Defy 2 really which has done it all!

That Cannondale does sound like a good bike however I'd have to up the budget for that...
