Tonight I'm going to place an order for a cheap PSU and some dual-layer DVDs. However due to postage costs I figure I may as well bung on any other little things that might come in handy, you know, stocking fillers if you like.

So, citizens of OcUK, now is your chance to pimp any CHEAP little computer accessories which you think are good value and worthwhile. I'm thinking more along the lines of neat little extras rather than core system components.

I don't like that word... 'Cheap PSU'. It's like a runner buying a pair of gola trainers. The PSU powers your components - invest in a solid, quality one!

Get some case fans!

Ah, but what if the runner doesn't do much running, not very fast, and only a couple of times a month? :) The PSU is for my old PC which I've left behind in my dad's house, I won't be using it very often and it won't need to be anything special (1 hd, 1 optical drive, gf2mx). Not really much point sticking a fancy psu in which would probably raise the value of the whole system by nearly 50% :)

Case fans is something I'm considering - last time I did an order I got one however it was a bit annoying as it held up my order for a couple of days as it wasn't in stock (despite being listed as in stock on the website), had to phone them up in the end to change it.

True true... I think those golas would still fall to bits though!!

If its not as demanding and the components aren't power hungry then I guess you can get away with it.

I'm getting some akasa ambers (80mm) tomorrow, which ones were you considering?
