Recommend me some DJ software.

Or use decks and be a real dj? traktor is good, but if you are gonna use mp3's then final scratch is the way forward. Atleast that is respected within the dj community :p

E.D.I.T.: got a feeling I need to put on my flame jacket for saying this.

Traktor and Final Scratch are both very well regarded, Cubase is, however, disgusting.

Get a Hercules console, I believe they are under £150 and are the best virtual console you can get, the unit looks like military hardware!

www.dogsonacid.com is an excellent community for advice.

You know Final Scratch uses Traktor?

Another vote for Ableton here.

Only used it a few times, but i've heard its pretty straight forward for DJ work. It's not that highly regarded as a great DAW though for standard music production, although it has much improved since version 7. :)
