Recommend me some games

Bonjourno!

I have been out of the gaming scene for some time now, but recently upgraded to a new machine and am feeling quite moist for some PC Gaming.

I am an FPS man at heart, so already battling some CSS and finally got round to Crysis (it's gorgeous but suffers from Farcry Syndrome... very repetetive)

What have I missed out on for the last ~2/3 years? Anything multiplatform on the 360 is a no go as I was/am an avid 360 gamer and as such have played most titles...

I see ArmA is a fairly popular, tried the demo of the second; was not impressed.

Anything else?

Oh if it helps I like most games, do love a good RPG too
 
overlord 1 and 2 very funny games.farcry 2.empire total war.defo get call of duty 4,and maybe world at war if you can get it cheap other wise i dont think its worth it.also get modern warfare 2 when it comes out.Colin mcrae dirt 1 and 2.there probably piles of games ive missed
 
I'd suggest Call of Duty 4 (great fps experience), Company of Heroes & Empire: Total War (great strategies) and if you're looking for something very very recent, Arma 2.
 
fallout 3 is awesome on the pc, i played it for over 400 hours on the 360 but wanted more so got the pc version and haven't looked back since :D fallout 3 mods

fear 2 also looks good but haven't got round to buying it yet, if your a fps man then you have to get call of duty 4 / world at war these also have loads of user maps and mods you don't get on the 360, also having a bit of fun with farcry 2 at the mo but it is very repetiteve at times

company of heros is good as well and if you like a little rts then dawn of war 2 is good, other than that it's waiting around for the really gool games that are coming soon, personaly the one i'm waiting for is mafia 2 :cool:
 
i knew there would be some i forgot lol.fear and fear 2 is awsome and stalker is good but i havnt got fallout 3 yet im waiting for my new pc before i get fear 2 and fallout 3
 
CoD 4 I've played and completed on 360

FEAR was not the best, but might look at FEAR 2

STALKER - I remember the leaked beta, not seen anything since; will have a look at this...

company of heroes anthology which includes the expansions has been floating about recently for £9-99 absolute bargain personally I think it's the best game ever made.

team fortress 2 and left 4 dead are good too.
Other than that most of the best games have been on 360 too pc gaming is a bit dry imo I prefer 360 at the mo.
