So i Bought Worms Reloaded, Mafia II, Bad Company 2 - got bored of all of them. Im stuck on Mafia II on Chapter 14 (Warehouse) Can be bothered to complete it now.

So im looking at getting a few more SP games,

I looked into witcher, i don't like the idea of making potions etc the review really put me off.

Im seriously considering Mass Effect however i don't like spacey things much. would i still like it? or do you need to like space age stuff to enjoy it?

I've Also played torchlight, got bored of that to its like a dumb down version of WoW

Game i'm considering at the moment is Fear 2 it any good?

demo 1-7 show new gameplay.

One of the developers in those videos sounds like Borat. :D

I noticed the special enhanced edition of witcher the other day, seems like they made a lot of improvments to it so probably worth picking up that version if anyone's looking to get it.

Starcraft 2 is something to go for. Burnouts another one- can be had quite cheap nowadays.

The Witcher was and is an amazing game. It really takes one of the more annoying RPG elements most developers put in, the white and black morality system and morality choices and turns it on its head.

In fact, sometimes it goes too far and you simply end up saturated in choices where no matter what you do you feel like a jerk and Evil McBadguy.

Still, a great title. Have not tried any of the newer BioWare games myself, but by all accounts they sound stellar.

I try to complete most games I play and this is going back to old RPG's like Ultima 4. However, I still haven't finished the Witcher. Nothing about it has made me want to finish it despite it being a decent game. For me, it's an enigma.

I'll throw a random suggestion out there for you though:

Aquaria. Great Metroid-esque gameplay, interesting gameplay mechanics and a compelling story. And it's only £14.99 on Steam.

No ones said Bad Company 2 yet?

I'll vouch for the single player on that as on its own its quite a solid game. The multiplayer for me (what I bought it for not realising it had such a large single player lol) was good also.

For pure single player I'd say mass effect 1 and 2

I recommend it purely for multiplayer, I've had it since release and not even finished the 1st level in SP :p

updated hopefully you guys can help me out (see OP)

You won't regret getting Mass Effect 1 & 2. I'm not too keen on a space setting either and I was hesitant to get them because of that but loved both of the games. Don't let that put you off.

Would also recommend Dragon Age: Origins.

For FPS you could look into the STALKER series.

And if you want to try something different try the Penumbra series.
