Recommend me some online co-op games...

I'm wanting to get a few games together to play co-op with a friend of mine online and wondered what people might recommend?

Just trying Divinity, which is rated as good. Only had a few mins with it. Feels fairly slow, and with more of a focus on thinking around problems tham most games. So far, thumbs up.
 
CoD World at War for something a bit older.

The division is co-op too and actually fun. Until you get to 30 that is.

Borderlands is fab as well.

We've had a look through the games we both own and it looks like Battlefield 3 has a co-op mode - has anyone tried this?

Am I right in saying this is turn based combat??

I played the BF3 coop, it's actually pretty good. There aren't many missions but they are great for repeatability as they have 3 difficulty levels to complete.

7 days to die
The forest

If you like survival/crafting games, I cannot recommend these two enough.

White noise is good for a laugh and a few jump scares, cheap on steam too.

CoD World at War Zombies

The first Templar - A pretty decent RPG which has 2 classes and is fun as it requires both of them to work together.

Portal 2

Farming simulator 15 if you like slower paced games.

I got my eye on the new Spacehulk Deathwing game that's due at some point. I'll be getting Warhammer Total War to co-op with my mate soon as well, we played a lot of Shogun 2 over the years. The last really good FPS co-op I played was Portal 2.
 
Resident evil 5/6.
Borderlands (all series).
DOW 2/ chaos raising/ retrebution - still on of my favourite in this genre.
Dead island(s)
BF3 coop is pretty good as mentioned, however only 5 missions.
Dead space 3.

Proper laugh, despite the inconsistencies with the shotgun up close, and a few other bugs. They slowly improve it to be fair, and a new map is coming out end of the month. Enjoyable played alone, with 2 or in a 5 man team.
