I'm looking to bolster my DVD collection, and so am calling on the OcUK film fraternity to put forward a few suggestions of their favourite titles, particularly if they are lesser known gems, and especially if they are of the Sci-Fi, Thriller or 'mess with your head good and proper' categories.

I enjoy a wide variety of cinema though, so anything will be considered.

Thank you muchly

Just because i watched it for the first time last night, i'm going to suggest Hotel Rwanda, a incredible film in which Don Cheadle (sp?) gives a stunning performance, Nick Nolte (sp?) is also very good IMO, Not a film to sit around and watch with your mates, but one of the best films i have watched for a long time.

One thats not known so well these days but I think is a classic and absolutely brilliant - Men Of Honour. It doesn't really fit into any of your chosen categories, but its a very worthwhile watch.
