recommend P5Q memory , asap!

need to order asap, what ram for a asus p5q deluxe...

Was going to get Corsair DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-8500C5 TwinX but out of stock, anything else recommended or should i wait for it, if its the better ram?

I saw this:

however of asus QVL list the model number isnt 100% correct few end letters wrong and says single mode... but then so does the xms2...

ps only 2gb.. windows xp 32bit

heard of ballistixs dieng more so than other brands & dominator has ITS HUGE HEATSINKS!

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) Black Dragon is cheap & popular try that

on the qvl list it says "supports one modules inserted into either slot as single-chanel memory config"

whats this mean and is it not as good as:
"supports one pair of modules inserted into either yellow or black slots as one pair of dual-chanel mem configs"

These. I use them in 4x1gb config and they do 1200mhz easily. About as good as Ballistix, BUT they don't die!

also, even though you're on 32bit I still recommend 4gb. This is a good deal...

it says its the new REV of the tracer memory to fix the "dieing" issue...

think i may take a dive with the tracer... god good reviews and with the new rev, diying shouldnt b a issue.

Corsair is good with asus boards

But i recommend gettin vista as a 32bit OS won't recognise 4gb ram
