Ok, time for a PSU change i'm thinking, will be upgrading the aging 8800GTX soon, but i'd rather spend it on the PSU right now and wait for the new X2 series graphics cards to come out.

Must be...
750W minimum (calculator said my system with CF 4890 would need 650w)
Modular
Must have 2x 8pin and 2x 6pin PCI-E connectors minimum.
£120 budget a little more if it'll make a big difference.
Hoping it will last 2-3 years!

Thanks.

Apparently there is a new Corsair model the 'HX 750' arriving this month which should be good, mite be worth a look into. The Be Quiet linked to above is meant to be a seriously good PSU too

+1 for the Be Quiet!

I got mine a few days ago, it's silent, LOADS of leads and the connectors on both ends are realy good quality.

Deffinetly recomend it.

After having a scan through some reviews the 750W BeQuiet looks like it would be the best bet.

I'm gutted at that price reduction on that PSU. I ordered the red one earlier today from OCUK and paid £103.98! :(
