Hi,

A little confused by all the quick disconnect options. Looking for something I can keep attached to an EKWB distro plate (O11D XL), and then attached a second fitting to it with soft tubing attached to drain the res when I need to.

Most grateful for guidance on what I should be looking at/considering.

Many thanks!

Simplest option would be a normal drain valve , like this ;

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-ek-af-extender-rotary-m-m-g1-4-nickel-wc-9hs-ek.html ( rotary so the valve can be faced to the correct orientation )

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-ek-af-ball-valve-10mm-g14-nickel-wc-900-ek.html ( the valve itself )

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-ek-csq-plug-g1-4-for-ek-badge-nickel-wc-619-ek.html ( just in case to plug the valve )

Will look like this ;

When you want to drain, just unscrew the blanking plate > screw in your fitting and soft tube > open valve
