Air.
The Crystal Method.
FC Kahuna.
Daft Punk.
Lemon Jelly.

And ive just managed to get for under £4 delivered, brand new, Alpinestars-B.A.S.I.C.

Any other recommended artists?

Thanks in advance all.

The Faint
Skinny Puppy
Snog
Assemblage 23

All a little different to what you're listening to but deffo all worth a try. The Faint are Electropop/Indie sort of fare, Skinny Puppy and Snog are industrial, and Assemblage 23 are EBM.

Primal Scream - Vanishing Point
Primal Scream - XTRMNTR*
Primal Scream - Evil Heat

The Avalanches - Since I left you

Leftfield - Leftism*

Amon Tobin - Out From Out Where

Amorphus Androgynous - Tales of Ephidrinia*

The Orb - UF Orb*

*You should definately try.

Edit: I think I will throw in:

U.N.K.L.E - Psyence Fiction

for the hell of it. :p

If you can find a copy that isn't going to silly money, then Steven Wilson - Unreleased Electronic Music version 1 is well worth a listen.

CD copies will be hard to find or expensive but vinyl is readily available.

cant go wrong with erol alkan IMO

even better is you can get his radio 1 essential mix(2 hours) for free on i tunes and its amazing.

or theres links on his site http://www.erolalkan.co.uk/ for getting the podcasted mixes with other software.

he basically plays the sort of acts you listed in the OP aswell as electro mixes of indie/rock stuff.

Leftfield ~ Leftism*
Fluke - Risotto
Kemistry + Storm ~ DJ Kicks
Aphrodite - Aphrodite (1999)
Robert Miles ~ Dreamland
SYstem 7 ~ System Express
Way Out West ~ Way Out West*
Paul Oakenfold ~ Tranceport 1998
Paul Oakenfold ~ Fluro
The Prodigy ~ Voodoo People (Pendulum Remix)* Possibly better than original

* MUST haves imho ;)

Im seeing a lot of Dance acts being recommended.
Thanks for the recommendations, but can people only post proper electronic music, and not dance ones. :)
Thanks. :)

Is William Orbits - Strange Cargo any good? I remember hearing one track off it a while back and i was quite impressed.

In fairness half the ones you posted were dance acts!
vitalic and daft punk are techno, well maybe electro-techno... if you want more stuff similar to that, try the new Alex Smoke album Paradolia which is excellant, Ellen Allien And Apparat - Orchestra Of Bubbles is great too, and try her solo release from last year as well. You will probably enjoy Isolee - wearemonster a lot as well, this got rave review last year.
On the slightly more techno side of things try the collab between Chris Liebing and Speedy J, which is a great straight out techno album, for the more minmal stuff the list of recent things is endless as it seems to be all the rage.. try DJ Koze - Kosi Comes Around, Ritchie Hawtin - Transistions (this album is mindblowing) and Matias Aguayo - Are you really lost.

If you want something a little less beaty the recent delia gonzalez and gavin russom album is fab, onto the more electronica stuff something like matmos might be quite accessible before it all goes very glitchy with the likes of squarepusher, venetians snares etc.
On the more er.. 'acid' side of things, you could perhaps try out luke vibert or the recent afx compilation choosen lords.

For something more ambient the global communication classic 76:14 is about as good as it gets.

If you want electro-indie i recommend ms john soda, lali puna and the notwist, and for indie-techno (hah) try the knife (and you should recognise one of their songs..).

hope that is of some help, it really depends what your looking for

(ps. the vitalic album is brilliant isn't it!)

try Tangerine Dream. if you can get a hold of their album Phaedra then definitely do. it's a really amazing psychadelic electronic album...well worth a listen :)
