Recommend some music?

For the past 3-4 years I've listened to metal pretty much exclusively, but recently I've been trying to listen to different genres, so I'd appreciate it if anyone could recommend some albums worth buying. I've got albums by Pendulum, Daft Punk and Venetian Snares in the past few weeks which I have enjoyed, so was after a few more albums worth listening to. Any genre at all.

maybe some massive attack or royksopp too (think everyone likes them )

which daft punk album is it you got out of intrest ?

ooooo discovery is a bit too "pop" imo

should have got "homework" one of the best albums of any genre ever

or the greatest hits lol

best thing i ever did when looking for new types of music was use myspace to look at artists pages and listen to there tracks then if i liked them click there friends (who usully do similar stuff) and go from there. found lots of good stuf fi doubt id of ever heard otherwise

Get on Last.fm and look for people with similar taste in music. Have a look at their 'most listened to' lists and start trying those you haven't heard before.
