Recommend some ram for new rig

Getting some C2D lovin soon, thinking of a 1950pro, Abit AW9D/6300 combo, can you spec me some 2gig ram(hopefully under the £200 mark)that would suit this. I wont be clocking so thats not a consideration.

i got the aw9d-max a sapphire 1950pro and a e6700. i use

Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB) £169.99

everything worked straight out of the box no problems with compatability.

if you not going to overlcock then you can save ya self some pennies and get

Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-5400C4 TwinX (2x1GB) £139.99
(£164.49)

There's also the ubiquitous geIL 6400 RAM from overclockers @ about 170 squids. I have this and it's monstered my old 5300 RAM at the benchmarks!

Think there's bad batchs of geil going round or is that just with the Gigabyte boards. Yeh just go with the corsair. You won't be dissapointed!

Geil ram seems fine with my abit aw9d. I think the problems were mainly with that particular model of mobo you mentioned.

thats what id go for its the:

would look the part with your ati card and allso my friend has some.
and Boy do they overclock like clockwork they are awsome, i couldnt beleive them
