Recommend some Retro VC games!

Im going into town tommorow to pickup a Wii classic controller, going to buy some VC games when i get in but not sure what to download. I already have Mario/Zelda games on cartridge so something that i wouldnt have played. My snes/sega/64 days were limited so i probably missed out on a lot.

I want to get into a Racer/Space Shooter/Action/Shooter/Beat Em Up, whats the best VC has to offer at this moment

also will 64/Snes etc games fit on my blocks or do i need an SD card?

They'll fit on the memory. VC games themselves can't be saved to SD, IIRC.

I recommend getting Actraiser and Super Probotector (Contra III), both have a nice retro feel. I'm not much into schmups but check VC-reviews for info on them. For fighting games obviously check Street Fighter 2 Turbo. Racers = F Zero +X. Also try Sin and Punishment for a Japanese game similar to Lylat Wars which is rather good.
