Hi all,

Having some issues now with my 5 year old Panasonic TX-58AX802B.

Looking at a new 4K set, what's the one to get for around £1k?

Thanks in advance

sony 55hx9, after seeing these are £900 in JL, considering their £100 voucher;
jl do seem to be mudying the water with their more extensive guarantees, they are now selling for tv's, though

Sony XH95 will have better picture quality than XH90 but won't have HDMI 2.1. You gotta figure out if that's important to you, granted it's a bit more as well. I wanted to recommend the XG95 which would've been essentially identical to XH95 in PQ but can't seem to find it anymore. Might want to look at that as well, and that would be closer to 800 I guess.

Im having a Q90T delivered this coming Saturday. Read lots of reviews, youtube etc.. and pulled the trigger. I was tempted by the OLED option, but the screen burn-in issues worried me. I have been to a few forums in the last few days and the Q90T has a few issues...Inverted ghosting/judder on UK channels even through Sky/freeview. This only effects the "T" series TV's. Now I'm in a dilema, send the TV back or take delivery and hope I'm lucky enough not to have these issues.......

Second hand Panasonic 902b 65’’ is best value on the market imo.
See them get sold for a bargain price all day and destroys most LcD tvs now.

OlED is good but for 1000 quid you aren’t getting 65’’

I bought a 65" Samsung Q80T for just over £1100 a couple of weeks ago. Cracking TV. Granted PQ isn't as vivid as my previous LG OLED but I had issues with that being slow (it was 4 years old) and image retention.

I received my Q90T and its fantastic, very bright, colourful and the black levels are great and the picture quality is the best Ive seen so far on a TV. No issues at all so far, now I just need my Series X :)
