Can anyone recommend a card reader device that can read multiple sd cards at once? Ideally 4+ at a time, part of my work involves traffic surveys and I can have upto 30-40 cameras out at once which I need to get the footage off and then encode to make the files smaller, currently i just use multiple usb readers which is ok but a dedicated multiple card reader would be good?

Kingston Workflow is probably the cheapest option

But Sandisk and Lexar also have similar products

Thanks for that the Kingston one looks decent and not badly priced either :)

Edit ordered hub with one sd reader and a further 3 sd readers :)

Looks like you'll need to price in the cost of 4 Workflow SD Readers at £20 each.
They support 2 SD cards each, giving you a total of 8. Still a good price. I was expecting something costing £300+

Yeah its come in at under £120 which is fine, means I can hopefully start the transfers and not have to sit and watch them complete and swap cards as much :)

Thanks for the recommendation, arrived today and seems to work great!

Small update, I've now bought a second one for my home pc as I often pick up cameras late at night and copy data from them at home aswell as in the office. I was thinking it would be great if they made a nvme adapter as I have load of spare ssd's of various capacity's laying around, then tried a couple of different ssd enclosures I also have and they work great, especially the cheapo Orico one I bought from a cheapo website for a couple of quid :) they are a great device wish i'd asked sooner :)
