Recommendation for Edinburgh food?

My wife is treating us to a night away in Edinburgh next Saturday as my xmas present.

Any recommendations for good food? Steak or bbq is preferred but open to suggestions. Around £30-£40 per head, excluding drinks, would also be good.

Been a while since I've been. But I was always partial to The Kings Wark. Usually get the mussels to start. I believe steak is on the menu. I prefer to sit in the pub side rather than the restaurant side for the atmosphere. Means you might have to wait a few mins to get seated though.

It'll cost more than you'd like but if you want steak then Hawksmoor or Kyloe. You could always go on the Sunday for a roast before you leave? Kyloe have a 50% off voucher on their website at the moment but that would only be for the Sunday.
