Looking for some guidance on a first drone setup for photography.
My weekend research has thus far led me to considering the DJI Mini 2 as I've found the general consensus to be it represents decent VFM.

Most reviews seem favourable and it's by no means bad however is it the sort of device that can very quickly become inadequate and I'd only end up upgrading to something else within 6 months?
It is not for professional work just really to expand on my photography hobby.
Additionally, if the Mini 2 is a good proposition can any users advise whether or not I'd be better off shelling out the extra cash for the Fly More bundle? Personally the only thing I could ever see me needing would be a spare battery or two but by the time I purchased those is it just as easy to go for the bundle at the outset?

I would suggest the Mini 2. It takes RAW images, it's easy to fly and control, good range, easy to take with you and not too expensive.

If your budget can stretch to the fly more combo then go for that. The extra batteries will always prove useful and from memory, it comes with a case right? That would also be useful to store and transport it in.

Can't go wrong with the Mini 2.

If you decide later on that need need more features then upgrade then. You can always sell the Mini 2.

Thanks for that. Been trying to do as much research as I can and it's hard to ignore the Mini 2.
It's not a top of the range 40+MP sensor but it does seem to be very versatile and I have no doubt should fill my needs as a hobbyist.
As you say I can always sell and upgrade down the line although it would be nice to not have to - I spent enough years changing cameras I could do without it now :p.

I guess at this stage the question is do I just buy now or wait until some possible Black Friday deals - this will have been out 1 year by that time so it's bound to be in prime position for a sale...

Just an update, I picked up a manufacturer refurb Mini 2 for £339 - complete with 30 day return and 1 year guarantee so happy to take a punt at that price.
I just the weather plays ball when it arrives at the start of next week!
