I wanting to buy a few pairs of Jeans and was wondering what you all recommend? I'm used to wearing 501's but fancy something a little different.
I still want the tight bum :) but fancy a looser leg with a flared bottom. I don't really like the look of G-star. They are too expensive and thin.

Thanks :)

Just go into Matalan and buy the first jeans you see, honestly, do people really pay that much attention to what label is on your arse? aren't the labels hidden as soon as you put a tshirt on anyway?

Nobody is going to judge you on your jeans, well if they do, thats pretty sad.

My jeans cost £10-£20 from Matalan, and last ages

I only ever bought Diesel until my sister got me a Hollister voucher for xmas. Now, i admit it can be abit of an ordeal to buy anything in that shop however the clothing is fantastic - only 40 notes too. Will deffo be going back!

Why buy matalan jeans when you could just wear some robes instead, who cares its just something to throw over your body.

Because quality products feel much nicer to wear and look better too.

you may struggle with a flared leg but boot cut comes close in some.

the diesel 'vixy' design is flared but is a womans design but *meh* who's gonna know?

I used to feel the same as you, but having since started buying on Levis my opinion has completely changed. The quality difference is quite significant.

+1 for Levi's

I'd always recommend anyone to have at least 1 really good pair of jeans, once you've found your fit / brand they really do feel great on. Cheaper ones tend to miss-shape, discolour and generally don't "fit" as nice. (not on me anyway)

I've bought jeans from Primark/Matalan/New Look/H&M etc.. All £20ish mark. Honestly, I'm seriously considering investing in a decent pair of jeans. I don't give a damn what it says on the pocket. But I would like some jeans that are finally the right shape and are comfortable...

All the manufacturers will have slightly different cuts to their jeans, even ones that are meant to be the same style, so really you have to go out and try a whole bunch and see what fits well.

well. i prefer something a little more stylish and unique. designer ones tend to be better made and nicer fitting.
