Recommendation - Gaming / browsing £300-350 27"

as the title says,

any help would be great - I have spotted this on a site for £360 seems to be a decent one but I am unfamiliar with monitors really.

That's too expensive price for what's old lowest common denominator sRGB gamut monitor.
Wide gamut versions (27xx850) are available for that money.
But those LG's 27" 2560x1440 panels have outdated contrast from 10 years ago.

AU Optronics panel in this would have one of the best contrast of IPS panels, very good response times comparable to best LGs and wide colour gamut.

Though stand pretty much lacks adjustments
