hi guy i have just bought the Intel Sandybridge i5-2500K Unlocked Core i5 Quad-Core Processor. and i would appreciate your your advice on the mobo i have chosen to buy . the mobo is the GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3853#ov
my reason for this choice are im not having dedicated gpu straite away and my main drive will be a 64gb ssd and it looks good
so are this good reasons many thanks for any advice

It looks OK. Supports all the Z68 features, has good onboard graphics support, SLI-Xfire 8x, and I like gigabyte boards. But it only has 7 VRMs which is quite light tbh. Can't say how much impact it would have on overclocking and durability.

The Asrock does seem to be the best choice based on reviews, but then again differences in mobo's aren't huge...so if it costs more than the one you were eyeing I say don't spend a lot more for only a little gain.

Go for Asrock z68 Extreme 4

thanks for your advice guys the asrock doses look nice and its only £139. £10 more than the gigabyte but im not sure if i like it that much. it aint easy chooising iv been at it for two weeks and i get the money next wensday to buy one

If you are not interested in SLI / Xfire, the Asrock Z68 Pro3 is a good 'budget' board. But I'd take the Extreme4. Not a big fan of gigabytes offering in P67 / Z68. They seem to be too many of them and all of them missing one thing or another.

Definitely Asrock Z68 Extreme 4 :)

my mind is made up but the question is do i get the mobo on pay day (5 days) or shall i wait till i have all the other components just in case the mobo is faulty

many thanks for your advice
