Recommendations Audio / Video

Hi,

I am looking for some advice on audio video for my pc, details of which are in my signature.

I want to be able to do video calls, as I have my guitar lessons via Skype. Also play music and maybe even record my guitar playing.

I have no idea what I need to be able to do all of this, at the moment unless I plug in my headphones to the motherboards output jack I have no sound.

I assume I need a video camera with a mic. And some speakers of some sort, any recommendations would be appreciated.

Video calls is pretty easy, any webcam can do this, but the microphones are generally terrible on any webcam (even expensive ones), which is acceptable just for a call, but for music you'll want to buy something better, especially if you're planning to publish.

For recording at this point it’s just so I can play back my guitar practice so I get an idea of where to improve etc. Nothing fancy.

also for general sound from the pc, I don’t need anything fancy, just generally to listen to music etc.
I am severely hard of hearing so quality sound is kind of lost on me.

Not a recommendation, just an example. I have no idea how the microphone would handle a guitar.

Headphone wise, I would want to use they plugged into my pc, or my iPod, or phone as I like to listen to music when I’m travelling around etc. I am not a big gamer so they would mainly be used for Music. Would something like the popular DT770 be Ok, or would I be better off with say Bose QC35II or sony wh-1000xm3 or xm4 ?
