Recommendations for £130 budget GPU

Must be able to handle dual DVI outputs, and be DX11. HDMI output is fine but not absolutely necessary. Preferrably 1GB RAM or higher as will be powering two monitors, the highest of which is 1920*1200.

i think a used 6950/70 would be your best bet?

Not sure how good the XFX 6850 is (if you wanted to go new) but I know 6850 are meant to be pretty robust as well. If not 2nd hand 6950 would probably be the way to go.

New for £130 your looking at either a XFX HD 6870 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card or a EVGA GeForce GTX 460 Superclocked FTW 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

The 460 runs at 867Mhz and is a little faster than a 560 non ti which runs at 810Mhz so you can see how they perform here

As you can see in those charts the 560/460 superclocked is a bit faster in quite a few games but the 6870 does lead in a few.

If you can afford to wait a couple of weeks, see if Nvidia release the 660's, might shake up the pricing of the market a lil, have a 460 myself good cards, also heard the same about the 6870.

I'd say look around for a second hand 6950 and then unlock it to a 6970 as per the instruction in one of the threads
