Hey

Just started a new job delivering parcels, so I don't get bored over winter. As its usually a little slow being a gardener.

With this company, I use my phone as a satnav, I also have to scan the parcels with it too. Thought I would get some sort of device, but I guess it saves them a load of money this way.

So I need a decent charger and a short usb c wire with a 90 degree angle on the end.

Can anyone recommend either a charger plug thingy or a cable please.

Thanks

I got this recently. Been great. As long as your phone has wireless charging this will save you ruining the charging port constantly plugging it in and out.
MOKPR Car Phone Holder Wireless... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09XQTV9MJ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

It's does have wireless but, I have a case and when I've tried it at McDonald's or on them bandits in a boozer, it doesn't charge with the case on unfortunately

I was actually looking at that before I made this thread.

The one is have charges my phone really so. Because it's on and off all the time I need a quick charger really.
i use a samsung s23, my £1 charger does fast charging (it doesn't support PPS so not able to do samsung ultra fast charging, but supposedly will support 100w charging on xiaomi etc)

I've got a Poco F5 that does 67w I think. It's doesn't need to be that fast tho. Do you have a link to the charger you bought? I've bought a couple over the years from eBay and temu, they have all been pretty rubbish. But it didn't really matter until now

@cjgardens so how is the aliexpress charger going, does it work as advertised?

So I've given it a very quick test. It's definitely better than what I had. It does turbo charge on my Xiaomi with a older wire,

With Xiaomi there's normal charge, quick charge, turbo charge, then max 67w

Quick charge is quick enough I think. Got a few chargers that will do that and are fine. So turbo charge is great.

But, it causes interference with the radio. :( so I think I'll still use it when I need a quick charge, but day to day I'll have to use my old one. I do have internet on my head unit so I could use that. But when I just want normal radio it's no good :(

eek that's pants. :(
a quick google suggests adding ferrite cores to the cable might help with the RF interference

Yeah them round things that you used to get on old computer cables.

I've had some headlights that did the same. Might give it a try. But it's still a quick fix for now. Can only a few quid.

Thanks for the suggestion
