I would recommend either the dell aw2725df or Samsung G60sd, depends on if you like matte or glossy. I had the dell before I upgraded to the 32 inch version. Think the Samsung is cheaper just now though.
I had the same question, so I will hop in on this thread if nobody objects.
I don't have space for two 27" monitors just now, so will need to use one monitor for desktop work as well as play, any idea what screen burn issues are like with the third gen panels?
Also, any love for the MSI MPG 271QRX? look to be fairly well regarded on the web.
OLED seems to be the best for gaming and watching video, so do I want one? yes. Do I game enough to warrant it? yes. Do I do enough desktop work to potentially cause issues? unfortunately also yes.
So, while I am tempted to get one, I'd rather not be messing around with task bar settings etc. to prevent screen burn issues.
The Alienware aw2723df is a nice IPS monitor then if you don’t want to go OLED.
27”, 1440p, 240htz with a 280htz overlock mode.
They had brilliant Black Friday deals on them last year which stacked with corporate discount codes. It was about £550 rrp last year and I grabbed one for £300 ish on Black Friday by stacking the two discounts.
