Hi Guys,

As title says im looking for my first ever gaming PC( have a ps4 already) and looking to do some video editing.

Im looking for a system on the OC site that i can buy as a one stop shop, I already have two moniters, Mouse and keyboard.

Not wanting to spend unnecessary cost but want something fairly quick and able to play the latest games.

Thanks very much

As above, but also the resolution/model of the 2 monitors - res and refresh rates. So...
  • Budget?
  • Monitor specs?
  • Video editing software?
All helps with spec advice.

Hello all.

Ok Apologies

Please see the following

1.Budget- Up to 800 for the system, ideally I would like to spend less if I can!
2. Monitor Specs- DELL SE2417HG Gaming Monitors 23.6, 1080p, 2ms, ( I have two of these)
3. Video Editing Software- most likely something like camtashia, I'm just a novice so looking to somewhat have a decent machine/spec but im not a professional by any means and its just for personnel usage.

Thanks guys

Except for simple cutting without any recoding video editing can suck really lots of processing power.
So if not in hurry waiting for Zen2 CPU release could give more performance per money.
That budget simply isn't much for gaming PC.
I assume you want also Windows included in that price.

I do a fair bit of video editing at home, 1080p Youtube stuff. I do a lot of gaming and streaming too and my spec is perfect for what I do.

My specs:

Ryzen 7 1700X
16GB RAM at 3000
Crosshair VI Hero
240mm All In One Cooler
Asus 1080 Reference
Super Flower 800W PSU
2x 1TB SSD and 2x Seagate Barracuda

It would probably come in a bit over your budget but it's absolutely perfect, I feel like I could throw more at it and It'd be fine. You could do something similar and maybe cut down on the storage and save a bit of cash???

EsaT has a good point though. If you want to go the AMD route then totally wait for Zen2.
