Hi guys I'm allways on the look for 'different' music, non-main stream, kind of ambienty, esoterical type music, I can only think of

Murcof

Royksopp

at the moment but can anybody add to that, I like it when people mix classical with electronica if anyone knows anything like that, the most recent album I got that was quite different from the main was,

Wild Swans - Composed by Elena Kats-Chernin

what made me hunt this album out was she composed the music from the latest Lloyds TSB advert, the animated one with the train, here's a link to the track here, I'm sooooo in love with this track right now :) ,

wow great post thanks, yeh it's hard to really describe the type of music I'm looking for although you seem to understand what I mean :) , I noticed you mentiond Max Richter, that REALLY suprised me as I've never met anyone else who's even heard of him before, I own the Blue Notebooks album which I think is just stunnnnnnnning, from start to finishe it really sends you on an amazing journey and some of the short extracts of poetry that is read between tracks is really good and adds a deeper eliment to the whole album,

I a have few albums by Phillips glass, my fav being the music he composed for the horror flic 'Candyman' I love the piano peice from that album, Helens theme if I remember correctly,

I don't have any music from the other artists/composers you have mentiond (apart from Murcof) and I really look forward to exploring them in more detail, cheers.
