My medusa headphones are nearing their death after several near fatal treadings and droppages (new words galore). So I am in the market for a new pair of headphones budget is about £60 and my key focus is comfort, obviously for this price sound quality is also a factor.

I like the look of the Sennheisers that OcUK stock but are they as good as they look im looking for some personal experiences if poss.

Thanks.

Depends on your personal preferences.

I picked up some Sennheiser HD 595s (new) for £79.99 last week.

Very pleased with them so far.

I own the Sennheiser HD555s and have tried the HD515s. To my ears the 515s sounded harsh and had too much treble. The 555s are much better and I would say they are well worth paying extra for. You should be able to get a pair of 555s withing your budget if you shop around. I haven't heard any 595s but from what others have said they seem like a much smaller step up than 515 to 555.

Thanks guys, I was going to buy some 515s but I don't think I will now. I think I will reach a little furthur into my pocket and go for the 555s as they will be on my head a lot of the time and its not worth comprimising.

I've been buying Sennheiser MX550's for all my MP3's players (past and present) and I can't fault them. You can pick them up for around £20. I absolutely hate standard iPod ones. :p

I have ordered some HD555s, they look pretty comfortable and have some very good reviews I have had sennheissers in the past and they are very good I was looking for some headphones as opposed to ear bud type thingies as they will be on my head most of the time as I use them whenever I'm on my computer which is a lot at the moment as I am doing uni work.

Thanks for your input chaps.
