Recommendations for Upgrade (Gaming)

Hi all,

I built my system about 3/4 years ago now so it's being about for a while.

Its current specs or components as follows:

CPU: E6320 Core 2 Duo - Clock speed is something like 1.86ghz.

Mobo: Asus P3B Wifi/AP Edition

Memory: Couldn't tell u type off top of my head but I think its GEIL and I've got 2GB.

GFX: ATI Radeon HD 5770. This is the most recent addition to the system as my original 8800 GTS took up the most unhealthy habit of smoking.

Anywho...I'm wanting to upgrade my CPU and obviously to do that I need to upgrade the mobo and ram but I could do with a couple more Gb tbh.

Anyone recommend what might be worth having? I use my pc for everyday use and gaming but I'm not hardcore. I play WoW and a few other bits like BFBC2 and starcraft etc.

Any advice is welcomed.

Intels new socket1155 sandybridge cpus and motherboards are released on the 9th.

or you could buy a second hand Q6600 quad core cpu, buy a new 4GB kit of DDR2 ram, selling your current 2GB kit, stick a good £25 heatsink on the cpu and overclock.

Make sure you don't skimp on Storage devices, a speedy drive will help a lot if your using your computer a lot. Just a thought.
