Recommendations please - light jacket

Problem - my only coat is very heavy and non-breathable. Great for standing around in the cold but you end up arriving anywhere very hot and rather unpleasant.

So I’m looking for a light commuting coat. Ideally wind and waterproof but very light and breathable. Is this a job for goretex? Let me know, on mighty GD!

Thanks for the replies - will check them all out.

£200 is probably the max of what I’d comfortably pay. I feel that’s a rather high budget so whilst I can pay that... I don’t necessarily want to max that out ‘just because’.
