Recommendations required

I currently have a PCi-E Radeon x800GT and am thinking of an upgrade sometime soon. What would be a good step up?

I am looking for decent (not amazing) game performance, and good output via a DVI-HDMI cable (which I already have and am using with my current card)to my HDTV

but, your processor would bottleneck it a lot

also check your PSU before getting a 8800GTS, if your after a midcard the 7900gs is a great price/bargain!

I have a 600W PSU in the machine, so hopefully that would have enough juice
