As per the title I'm looking for the above. Currently got two Hazro 27" IPS 60Hz monitors but dual link DVI only. Given the price of active adapters I think I may as well go for one new monitor.

Going to pair it with a 5700XT for now with plans for big Navi later. Budget less than £500, I realise there may be compromises :) Use is mixed but would like 144Hz if possible and not TN.

It comes out in two weeks, what about the lg-27gl850-b-27-? https://www.overclockers.co.uk/lg-2...le-widescreen-led-gaming-monit-mo-155-lg.html as long as the green sticker comes off, it looks decent.

oooooooooooo features definitely looks decent for the price! undercuts the aorus by a big margin!
I have to admit I am tempted and more then likely that sticker will come off. Just not sure to preorder or wait until 2nd batch. Its a lot cheaper then I expected.

Any thoughts on going up to 32" at this resolution or VA panels.
i use 2x 32" monitors. :P the ppi on 1440p 32" is the same as 1080p 24". so it's pretty comfortable...although some would prefer the increased pixel density of 1440p 27".
tbh, i wouldn't recommend going VA unless it's the top-end VA monitors...a bit of backlight bleed is waaaay more tolerable than a blurry mess that is inherent in VA panels' slow pixel response.

Looks a very nice spec, added to my list. Any thoughts on going up to 32" at this resolution or VA panels. I'm not overly picky as I know my current monitors have some backlight bleed on a black screen in the dark but tbh in normal use I can't tell!
The only thing that puts me off 30 to 32” is all the good ones like LG 34GL750-B 34" seem to be curved and I don’t like curved. 2560x1080 seems to the sweat spot. Looks great without the 4k performance hit and none of the other problems you get at 4k and high refresh rates. All the high refresh 4k monitors have problems doing both together.

VA panels I have always avoided for gaming as they tend to have blur/ghosting on fast movement. As far as I am aware that’s still a problem.

with the way tech is progressing...better to wait for the 2nd batch. it doesn't pay to be a beta-tester early adopter.

Bit of a tricky one. I'm waiting for AIB 5700XT which won't work on my current monitors. Either I'm stuck using a 5830, no use for anything but desktop or be an early adopter...

ASUS MG279Q
Aorus AD27QD
I went through two AD27QD's and would advise anyone to steer clear of them, the build quality is solid and excellent but both panels had really bad glow and were unstable, there was also a lot of ghosting present. Both itried had difficulties passing ufo tests, they were just not stable at 144hz and would randomly lose sync.
