recommended a Biocide

can anyone suggest a biocide for a loop with just de-ionised water in that does not have any sediment ie is totally clear ?

i searched around and see petra do some but i think they cannot be bothered to make anymore as everyones out of stock, i don't like using pre mixed stuff now due to dye clagging up etc.

don't lagh but would a capfull of bleach do the trick ?

Wouldn't recommend it. Silver Kill Coil is the way to go apparently.

yeah i saw them but my res and pump are a combo and fear it would get sucked into the pump impeller and i cba to take a hose off to shove it in there as it might break free and go in the pump etc

Can you not make the kill coil into a larger loop that cannot go into the pump? Silver really is preferable to any additives.
