So I'm looking to upgrade from my Asus rog crosshair IV formula board to a board that enables SLI and/or Crossfire, preferably with an AM3+ socket. What would you all recommend? I don't really want to go over £100

If you sold your Crosshair IV on a famous auction site you would get between £80 - £100 + shipping for it, I've been keeping tabs on them as I'm going to sell mine.

Then you would have around £200 to spend on a motherboard, the Crosshair V would be a good choice then and in your price range once again.

The only crap thing is Asus warranty, the UK RMA base in Scotland has folded so not sure what their system is now.

I would prefer it to have SLI to be honest as I want to keep my GTX 460 because I only jyst recently got it and I think it's a great card and would be amazing to SLI.

Crosshair V supports SLI or was you looking for a cheap board so you can afford another GTX 460? :)

Yes that supports SLI and crossfire , in fact according to the Asus site it offers quad sli and the crosshair v only does tri - sli lol but its a bit over the £100 you mentioned first of all.

Something like the asus m5a99x evo will also do sli/xfire and is only £120 and will take bulldozer chips when they show up.
