Recommended body repairs in Middlesbrough/Stockton area?

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for any body repair shops in the stockton/middlesbrough area? My excess on my policy is quite high and I would like to get some independant quotes while I wait for the outcome of the insurance (looks like I'll end up with paying for my own car). I know nothing of decent garages in the area and I've been ripped off countless times so I'm a bit worried about where I take it! If anyone could help I would be really grateful!

i used here http://www.oopsltd.co.uk/index.htm for a door repair on my x-type when i closed the garage door on the drivers side door

came to about £110 which was quite good i thought. depends on how much damage you have got though

We use Mill Garages (volvo) in Stockton at work quite a bit and had no complaints.

yeh very happy with the job the guy did, the garage door came down on the top of the drivers door near the window & left a big dent on it, the guy fillered it and painted it. very good for the price

There is a garage in Hartlepool called the Ladysmith (don't laugh). It's at the south end of town and run by a doddery old guy. His work is exceptional though it did take him 2 hours to quote for my MR2 telling me about every car he'd restored over the last 98 years....

Worth a look.

Oh, avoid the Ford main dealer in 'boro (Jennings?) - they did a shocking job on our MX5
