hi,

Seriously thinking about a new mini itx system with a Asrock X99E-ITX motherboard. (and eventually Ncase)

It needs an ILM cooler...

Any recommendations?

I've got AIO liquid cooling in my Ncase PC, inc 240mm rad.

You don't need an ILM :)

Can't see it very well, but it's on the left

ILM is the standard for where the holes in the motherboard are for that socket type (2011)

the manual says i need an ilm cooler :/

looks like it comes with an adapter, but one review site ended up jamming bits of paper in with their AIO as they could not bolt one corner down :( i don't want to be in that situation..

Ah right, as long as the cooler supports 2011-3, you should be fine.

I have an X99 system as my primary PC and just had to change the AIO (pump failed) for a temporary solution - Phanteks TC14S and it was very easy to mount. Literally 4 screws directly in to the mounting points on the motherboard.

I see, I didn't realise that.

Ignore my bad information ;)

:D

finding a recommendation for a normal one is pretty easy with a search :D

I actually think i'm going down the cooler master air route - seidel or something? i saw a review with one fitted seemingly perfectly :)

just need OC to get the board back in stock now and that cooler would be handy too
