Basically I've been having some graphics problems lately and I want to try and eliminate heat as an issue (not entirely sure). So what are good all-in-one solutions?

How do you put the ram sinks on? Do you just use the thermal paste to stick it on?
What are nominal temperatures for an X800XT? I can't install any driver set over 5.9 (catalyst) without getting problems in Counterstrike source or Battlefield 2 (trackmania seems to play OK)...so I'm going to try replacing the fan. As my GPU temp goes to 80 in a game. So hopefully replacing the fan will work.
Can anyone answer my question please?
Hartty - the reason I'm fitting a new fan is that it's out of warranty, as it's just over a year old!
