Starting to get some random hard power offs while gaming although its fine under low load but im throwing blame at my 2011 1250w OCZ PSU

Current rig in sig but would like to future prrof a little, there might be a 9800x3d chip on the horrizon

What are you suggestions?

£150 for a quality 1200W PSU is very good value.

Reviews well, A rated on the SPL tier list, the OEM is HEC.

If I was buying a PSU for myself right now it'd be this.

1200W PSU seems a little overkill, unless you are planning on also adding a 600w 5090 or future monster.

ATX3.x power supplies over 450W AND with a 12VHPWR/2x6 are designed to handle the transient power spikes of modern GPU's, up to 2x the 12V rated output.
Which should sort the issue your're having from your older standard/spec PSU.
