Recommended monitor?

Can anyone recommend a 27" 1440p G-Sync 144Hz monitor?

I've been weighing up:

Acer XB270HUD / Acer XB270HUbprz
Asus PG278Q / Asus PG279Q

Predator XB270HUDbmiprz seems to tick all the boxes at a cheaper price tag but no reviews...

Acer v Asus
I've seen poor Acer reviews to do with dead pixels and and poor Asus reviews to do with service.

TN v IPS
I don't do any graphic design, just gaming but I might be convinced to pay a bit extra for IPS but also read many reviews of back light bleed that happens with these monitors.

Does anyone know a model that tips the balance in it's favor? For this kind of money I'd expect it to be flawless.

Having tried both the pg278q and 279q, i would and have gone for the TN version

I tend to play games at night so the back light bleed on IPS put me right off, and i also game head on to the monitor so have no issues with viewing angle

To get the best from these newer TN's i do find that you have to turn down the gamma, which you can do in nvidia control panel

Ive not tried the acer but that is certainly a very enticing price to try one - worst case you can return it and it'll just cost you the return postage

I tried two of those Dells a while back , and after having to send the two back....I chose to give it a miss

Thanks, I've also been thinking the Dell - ticks all boxes and seems to have reviews. Hopefully I wont be unlucky and get a perfect one.
