Recommended projector

So finally get my first place soon, and my dream has always been to have a projector/home cinema set up. It will be used for 90% films and the odd games when friends are round
Budget I would say between 700-900 but if I have to go to a grand if it means its a huge difference then I would consider it. Are the screens all the same basically? I need one that will retract as the missus doesn't want to see it! The room can go quite dark also, im guessing this would be something to consider also.

my mates got one...its a good budget projector..doesnt have the black levels of a more expensive projector but you have to spend more than your budget to get great black levels. once your watching a film on the big screen your not looking at the black levels but appreciating the size/surround sound.

check it has the right throw/lenshift/mounting options for your room.
