Hello all, I am new here :)

I have bought a bundle from OCUK:
*OVERCLOCKED* Intel Core i7 930 2.80GHz @ 4.00GHz Max / Asus P6TD Deluxe Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard / Corsair XMS3 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 (1600MHz) Tri-Channel DDR3 Bundle

I have a 3 HDD and 1 DVD-ROM, 1 DVD-RW and a few other little bits and bobs. It is also running a XFX GeForce 8800GTX.

I had problems with the system BSOD'ing when playing games (namely MS Flight Simulator X). These problems were solved when I de-clocked the system to stock speeds. So have been running at that since I bought it (it also hangs when trying to overclock on the fly using the supplied mobo software).

I believe that the problem could be due to my power supply. It was bought from ma-plin and is shown on the link below (remove the hyphen from the middle of ma-plin):
http://www.ma-plin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=221201

It provides 20A on the 12v rails and is 850w so should be more than sufficient. But it's not a well known make. Do you think this could be the problem in my system?

I was thinking of upgrading the PSU to the following corsair one:

Which would be a much better quality PSU. However would the wattage be sufficient? As I plan to upgrade my gfx card at a later date, maybe to a 5870 or similar.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

The Corsair will be able to handle the system fine, only problem would be adding another gpu you will need to use molex to PCI-E adapters.
