Hi all,

I've almost finished my new ITX build and just after thoughts on what PSU to get.

I've got my eye on a EVGA G2 750w with it's high warrenty and eventually some cable mod cables for it.

Will it be suitable for my build or should I aim for an 850w?

Mostly used for gaming with mining on the side when i'm not using the system.

7700k (Stock)
Gigabyte GA-B250N Phoenix-WIFI
MSI GTX 980 (Will be replaced with whatever the next high end Ti card that comes out)

650w should be more than enough for the upcoming ti card, even 550w if you wanted to cut it closer.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £286.03 (includes shipping: £11.10)

I would go for the Seasonic options over the EVGA as they are cheaper but better in some ways. If you really wanted the extra wattage, the 750w Seasonic is 15 less than the EVGA.

Alternatively, save even more money and get the Antec. It's based on the Seasonic design, but only has a 7 year warranty and isn't fully modular.

Amazing that newer more powerful tech uses less power than older tech.

I'd prefer to have a full modular PSU as I want to tart the PC up with Orange and black sleeved cables, and being ITX, space is precious.

So think i'm going to pick the seasonic 650w Plat.

cheers guys.
