Recommended RTS (with plenty still playing online)

Anyone any suggestions?

I loved AOE 3 (but nobody playing, and a problem with my password, grrr)
AOE2 - bit too old school
AOMyth - love it but nobody playing.

COH 2 - A tad complicated?

I wouldn't say COH is complicated at all, tbh.

COH isn't complicated, I manage to play it quite well and I am far from a RTS genius.

Nobody playing AoE III anymore? that's a shame, I was thinking of reinstalling it and checking out online again.. I had some great fun doing no rush 45 games back in the day 3v3.
