Hey guys,

I just got round to testing my new GPU on Battlefield 5 (took me forever to download), and there is something I cant put my finger on..

before I purchased this new GPU, I had my 5900X paired up with a 6700XT, and when I did test BF5 I was hitting the 120fps cap limiter, on 64 man Conquest, pretty much all the time..

Today, with my 5900X and my newly acquired 3070ti, (albeit on high detail and not medium with the 6700XT) I was only averaging about 90-105 ish fps..

Dont get me wrong, it ran really smooth and looked pretty good (minus the HDR bs I need to get setting up), but I would have assumed the 3070ti to handle better than it did?

But to my point..if someone can advise / guide me to where i could "tweak" performance / settings to help iomprove my build over all (or just leave as is :p) that would be great.

Cheers all!

Well..I thought I would run BF5 again and go into settings to see what I DID have it set to..I thought it was 1440p high but, after checking

It was running 4K Ultra on "conquest" in BF. My bad!

While you're testing, keep in mind some games seem to do better on one or the other (AMD or NVIDIA), so while the 3070 Ti should generally be faster, the gap will close.

Well switch on resizable bar, forget ultracsettings high is enough, unless you pc have cpu bottleneck.
