Hi. I have a Dell 7559 gaming laptop. The problem I have is in my van I'm using a 12v 120w power adaptor that Dells software recognises as a 90w adapter. This forces the laptop processor to run at 0.8ghz and obviously runs terrible.
What software based overclocking tools can I use to force the CPU back up to full power? I know I will be well within limits because I have an amp counter on my battery so can see the power draw, and plus the power draw when gaming is far higher and I won't be doing that.
It's clearly just a bodge to force you to use official Dell stuff.
