hi there,

Currently have my 6600 @ 3.7ghz @ 1.45v..

What sort of voltage can I go up to? Load temps atm are 47oC

Did use the search button but no result :(

Want to get to 3.8ghz stable at least

Thanks

I get a bit confused to whether people are quoting Bios VCore settings or "actual" ones ?

I for instance am at 1.4875 (you're lucky - I need that for 3.2 gig !) - which is about 1.44V actual. Since I'm on air - can I go higher - or am I at about our limit ?

thanks, Mark.

I reckon you'd be safe up to around 1.5-1.55 so long as your temps are reasonable. You might reduce the lifespan slightly but will you really be keeping the cpu for 5 years+?

on 1.485 (bios) - I'm getting about 55C load, and 42C idle - which isn't too bad ?

cpu-z reports it as 1.448V idle, and about 1.44 under-load

can I push it further ?
